I'm leaving Telegram.

Why?

My account's been limited for over a year, and recently the limits have gotten significantly worse to the point I literally cannot message a lot of my friends. I can only assume they want me to pay for Premium to get rid of the bullshit limits that should never have been there in the first place.

I recommend you leave Telegram as well. Completely.

Quick explanation: Telegram partnered with Elon Musk's AI company, and is likely scraping user data without their knowledge.

The CEO is heavily into AI and crypto, to the point he decided he wanted to have a crypto wallet in a chat app for some reason.

And, when ads were first added, they looked like regular messages.

I recommend Matrix if you want something similar to Telegram without all the bullshit, or Fluxer if you're after more of a Discord-like experience with some extra features. Or both
